It’s obvious that Sarah Palin is a hot topic in the news since she became John McCain’s running mate. While one seldom hears even a mention of Joe Biden’s name, the opposite is true of Sarah Palin. Her name is mentioned in the news as much as, if not more than, John McCain’s.
It’s also obvious that Sarah Palin is popular. While there are some that don’t like her or her political views, it seems that most do like her. She hasn’t been polluted by Washington, she’s young, and most importantly if John McCain wins the presidental election and dies in office Then Sarah Palin becomes the nation’s first female president.
What’s interesting is that some are complaining about Palin’s personal life, mostly concerning her young pregnant daughter and assuming the young man involved is being forced to marry the daughter. I have to wonder where people come up with such assumptions. One would think that the ones coming up with these assumptions live with the family and are privy to the family’s private lives. After all, how else would they assume they know things like this? (Why ask why)
